New business service director at Dawn Foods
Sweet bakery specialist, Dawn Foods, has appointed Sally Dowling as its new business services director for Europe.
In her new role, Dowling will be responsible for finance, IT and systems across the whole of Dawn’s European business. She has worked and trained at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Electric City and the Mayborn Group in a number of roles.
Dowling said: “This is an exciting opportunity to bring my extensive international experience to the European team as well as gain industry experience in the food sector. Dawn Foods is a dynamic, empowering place to work with great products, customers and people.”
Branston recruits Adrian Hayler to head up prepared foods
Branston has appointed Adrian Hayler as general manager of its prepared foods division.
Hayler will develop Branston’s customer base, and increase its market share and product range. He will ensure the efficient running of the new £3.5M prepared foods factory and oversee the division’s marketing and commercial activity.
Greame Beattie, Branston md, said: “We’re very pleased that Hayler has joined our team. His experience in the food industry and prepared produce will complement the skills of our current team and we’re really looking forward to seeing Branston prepared foods develop with him at the helm.”
Adrian has over 20 years’ experience within agri-business and the food sector, having most recently spent seven years working for fruit specialists Utopia, where he developed key accounts with Tesco and Marks & Spencer.
