Psychometric Support

At second interview stage, psychometric assessment can be provided in the form of  Thomas International or SHL.  This form of psychometric testing is typically used in food and drink talent assessment and is popular with many employers, revealing candidate intelligence, aptitudes and personality traits.

We can alleviate a further step of your selection process by providing this facility for candidates who reach the final interview stage. This will be facilitated by Jo Birznieks, on behalf of Harmas Riley.   Our provision includes online facilitation and individual feedback.

Jo Birznieks

Jo holds a Degree from Nottingham University is a Member of the CIPD and has a proven track record in HR management . She has worked in a variety of operational and front line Senior HR roles within blue chip Companies mainly within the Food and Drink sector including Northern Foods, Mansfield Breweries and G. W Padley Ltd. Since 2002 she has successfully managed and grown her own East Midlands based HR Consultancy, JAK HR Associates Ltd.

Jo is qualified at level A and B in Psychometric testing and regularly uses SHL, Saville and Thomas International products. She is particularly interested in developing competency based approaches to recruitment and development and regularly trains operational managers in effective recruitment and selection techniques.

Thomas International has been providing businesses with work personality profiling for nearly 30 years.  The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) provides an insight into how people behave at work answering questions such as – what are their strengths and limitations. Are they self starters? How do they communicate? What motivates them?

Both instruments have received Certificate of Registration from the British Psychological Society (BPS) to confirm they meet all psychometric requirements for use as a psychological tool.

We are also able to provide a comprehensive range of ability tests including verbal and numerical reasoning, critical and spatial reasoning, creativity problem solving ablity etc .
